Five pitches prepared at Qaddafi stadium: Head Curator.

LAHORE -- Five out of sixteen pitches of Qaddafi Stadium have been prepared for two T20 and three ODIs between Pakistan and Zimbabwe going to be kicked off from Friday.

It was revealed by the head curator of Qaddafi Stadium Haji Bashir Ahmed while talking to reporter here on Wednesday.

He said that six pitches around the ground have been prepared for the practice of teams, three for each, while clay has been brought from Wandala Sandhuwan (Narowal Road).

"All the pitches were prepared according to the international standard and people will witness interesting competition between the two teams", he hoped.

Haji Bashir said that arrival of Zimbabwean team had brought cricket back to the country and all the spectators were feeling full joy and Qaddafi Stadium has fully decorated.

He hoped that other international teams would also visit Pakistan to play here.
