Five firms renew leases at 1185 Ave of Americas.

Five tenants at 1185 Avenue of the Americas (Stevens Tower) have renewed their leases, reports Donald B. Kaplan, executive vice president of W&M Properties, Inc., the leasing and managing agent of the building.

The five renewals are as follows:

* JPS Converter and Industrial Corp., a manufacturer of textiles for home furnishings, automotive uses, clothing and carpeting, occupying 14,000 square feet on the 14th floor

* Hugo Neu & Sons, a used metal, shipping and real estate company in 12,500 square feet on the third floor

* Ogan/Dallal Associates, a public relations firm in 1,750 square feet on the 20th floor

* Diaco International Corp., a diamond importer, cutter and polisher in 7,500 square feet on the 20th floor

* Bialo, Inc., a jewelry firm in 3,500 square feet of office space on the 22nd floor. The broker for Bialo is Jonathan R. Serko of Cushman & Wakefield

The broker for the owner in all cases is W&M Properties, Inc., the managing agent.
