Five die in two Karak incidents.

KARAK, July 14 -- Five people were killed and three injured in two separate incidents here on Tuesday and police registered FIR of the incidents.

Police sources informed that in the first incident armed persons riding a motorcycle opened indiscriminate firing on a passenger pickup (C 4454 DI Khan) bound for Sabirabad from Karak near Begokhel village.

As a result of firing two persons Hazrat Mosa and Muhammad Iqbal were killed on the spot while another Ubaidullah sustained serious injuries and was taken to DHQ hospital Karak in precarious condition where he succumbed to his injuries before getting any medical treatment.

The relatives of the victims nominated Muhammad Nawaz, Sher Abad Khan and Umer Nawaz in the FIR at Sabirabad police station.

In the second incident one Sadeequllah was killed in cross firing between two rival groups at Mosakan area of Takht Nusrati Tehsil over a land dispute and three other Gul Sahib Khan, Izatullah and Gul Wali sustained serious injuries.

The cross-firing continued for three hours between the rival groups and the elders of the area and the police succeeded after long struggle to make a ceasefire between the groups.

Inamullah and Hawaldar group registered FIRs against each other with Takht Nusrati police station.
