Fitch to Withdraw Rating on Lexington Medical Center (SC).

New York: Fitch Ratings plans to withdraw the ratings on Lexington Medical Center (LMC) for commercial reasons on or about Aug. 22, 2018, which is approximately 30 days from date of this release. Fitch currently rates approximately $361 million in series 2017A, series 2016 and series 2011 bonds issued by the Lexington County Health Services District, Inc., SC on behalf of LMC.

Fitch reserves the right in its sole discretion to withdraw or maintain any rating at any time for any reason it deems sufficient. Fitch believes that investors benefit from increased rating coverage by Fitch and is providing approximately 30 days' notice to the market of the rating withdrawal of LMC. Ratings are subject to analytical review and may change up to the time Fitch withdraws the rating.

Fitch's last rating action for LMC was on July 5, 2018, at which point the revenue bond rating was downgraded to 'BB+' from 'A+'. The Rating Outlook is Stable.
