Fishing boat rescues four stranded on high seas.

A fishing boat rescued four Qatari nationals whose speed boat had capsized in the high seas off Al Khor on Friday, says a report published in the local Arabic daily Al-Arab.

They had set out in their speed boat at 1.30am after taking all the required precautions and checking the condition of the boat.

They also registered their names and mobile phone numbers with the coast guards check-post at Al Khor jetty and had indicated that they will return by 6.30am on Friday.

Shortly after reaching the high seas their boat overturned suddenly and they were all thrown off board in different directions. Groping in the dark they managed to swim and get on to their overturned boat and sat praying for help.

After nearly 10 hours of desperate waiting a fishing boat spotted them and rescued them.
