Fish Resources Commission Suffers SYP 45 Million Damage by Terrorist Attacks.
Director General of the Commission, Mohammad Zein-Eddin, said the damage was inflicted upon the farms, vehicles and facilities belonging to the Commission as a result of the looting and sabotaging acts committed by the terrorists.
Speaking to SANA reporter, Zein-Eddin cited a number of farms and sites that were targeted by the terrorists including Shatha and al-Rouge fish farms whose contents were looted and sabotaged, estimating the value of the damage caused to these two farms at SYP 1 million.
He added that terrorists also targeted Tishreen Point which is affiliated to the fish resources center of Deir Ezzor, attacking the workers and stealing its contents worth SYP 500,000.
Zein-Eddin continued to say that the terrorists also looted the contents and furniture of al-Kanamat fish resources center in Deir Ezzor causing a damage valued at SYP 1.
Another SYP 1 million damage was caused as a result of robbing and looting the Sa'alo fish center and another center affiliated to the Commission in Deir Ezzor.
Attacks targeting other farms and facilities in Deir Ezzor, Hama and Hasaka, which included looting engines, vehicles and small boats and stealing fish and tons of fodder, caused several other SYP millions in damage.
