First Vice PM Amangeldy Muraliev recommends local authorities to talk with local leaders of political parties to take responsibility for elections.

First Vice Prime Minister Amangeldy Muraliev on Monday asked heads of oblast, rayon, city and local administrations to talk with local leaders of political parties so that they will also take responsibility for the elections during the conference call devoted to the parliamentary elections.Less than a week is left before the day of elections, Amangeldy Muraliev said. "We should hold elections transparently, democratically, without use of administrative resources, at a high organizational level," he said and added that all remaining issues should be resolved.The oblast governors reports on progress of preparations for the elections. Jalal-Abad oblast governor Bektur Asanov said 410 polling stations are established in the oblast, ballots were dispatched, fax machines are delivered to polling stations. "The oblast is ready for the elections," the governor said.Issyk-Kul oblast governor Mirbek Asanakunov said all technical and organizational issues are resolved. All polling stations are prepared for teh elections. Precinct election commissions have representatives of parties and public organizations inside. 2 police officers and citizen patrol members will be at each polling station on the day of elections.Chui, Naryn and Talas oblast governors said their oblasts are prepared for the elections with all shortcomings removed.Osh oblast vice governor Ahmatzhan Mahamaddov said 468 polling stations are set up in the oblast. All polling stations will be provided with fax machines, phones. The ballots were dispatched. The oblast is prepared for the elections on the whole. The situation is calm in the oblast. Police officers and citizen patrols will ensure public order at each polling station.The First Vice Prime Minister asked to pay a particular attention to security issues. He asked to ensure uninterrupted power supply for polling stations, good operation of fax machines and telephones. "We should make all we can to hold the elections at a high level, so that the government is formed already in October," Muraliev concluded.
