First Security Bank Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of First Security Inc, has said that it has hired an executive vice president.

The firm said that it has named Jeffrey D Jackson as executive vice president-chief commercial banking officer. Jackson is to lead commercial banking and treasury management teams at the 11-branch network in Indiana and Kentucky.

Michael F Beckwith, president and chief executive officer for First Security Bank, said, 'I am very excited that Jeff will be joining the First Security team. Jeff has more than 30 years of commercial banking, trust management and business development experience that will be instrumental in moving us forward and helping us achieve our strategic goals for our shareholders.'
