First National Bankers Bankshares Inc. has announced the appointment of James M. Hudson to the position of president and chief executive officer of First National Bankers Bank.

'We are excited to have Jim Hudson join our organisation. His leadership and experience as serving as an executive officer in regional and community financial institutions in Louisiana makes him a natural fit for our organisation,' said Joe Quinlan, chairman.

Hudson is the former executive vice president and chairman of Southeast Region-Louisiana of Iberia Bank. He has previously served in executive capacities in several community financial institutions in the New Orleans area and is currently a member of the Discovery Health Science Foundation Academy, Jefferson Community Foundation and New Orleans Aviation Board. Hudson is also a past Board member of Louisiana Bankers Association.

First National Bankers Bank is the single banking subsidiary of First National Bankers Bankshares Inc., both of which are headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. FNBB is approximately USD1bn in assets and its customer base includes over 800 community financial institutions across the south-eastern United States.
