BANKING AND CREDIT NEWS-May 13, 2015-First Bank opens location in Bucks County


First Bank (NASDAQ: FRBA) said it has opened its first Pennsylvania location in Trevose, the bank's tenth branch. Other branches are located in Cranbury, Denville, Ewing, Hamilton, Lawrence, Randolph (2), Somerset and Williamstown, NJ.

First Bank was named one of the top 35 publicly traded small-cap banks by Sandler O'Neill and Partners and is one of the fastest growing small-cap banks in the area. The bank offers a traditional range of deposit and loan products to individuals and businesses in eastern Pennsylvania and throughout New Jersey.

The branch and commercial loan office opened May 6 with six employees at the new location. First Bank had USD731 million in assets and USD1.7 million in earnings in the first quarter of 2015.

First Bank is a New Jersey state-chartered bank with USD731 million in assets as of March 31, 2015.
