Firm in publicity challenge.

THE Leamington-based consultancy, PR Support, is taking up a learning- related challenge of its own, as national charity Campaign for Learning launches this year's Learning at Work Day.

The challenge is to beat its own record for securing media coverage for the event.

For the past two years PR Support has handled media relations activity for Learning at Work Day in the charity's Midlands and Eastern regions, and in both years it has secured more coverage for the day than consultancies supporting the other regions.

PR Support managing director, Jane Grant, said: "The educational sector is one where we have a strong track record and I have been gratified to find that our detailed knowledge of the sector has helped Campaign for Learning to build awareness of, and participation in, the event so successfully.

PR Support has already kicked off its PR programme in support of this year's Learning at Work Day, which takes place on Thursday, May 20, following a high profile national launch by Charles Clarke MP, Secretary of State for Education and Skills.
