Firm's award.

A PR company from the region has won a top award.

Robson Brown's PR team won the Gold award in Public Affairs at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) North East's annual industry ceremony. The award acknowledged the company's work on raising awareness about the need to protect children from starting to smoke.

The Let's Make Smoking History campaign, was carried out on behalf of Fresh, Smoke Free North East.

Head of Public Relations at Robson Brown Sally Pearson said: "This is great news for the team. It has been an important campaign to work on and an area of work which has real meaning."
