Firemen free horse stuck on gate.

A HORSE had to be rescued by firefighters after getting stuck on a gate it had tried to jump to join horses in another field near Ebro Crescent, Binley, Coventry.

Radford Road sub-officer, Sean Minshull, said: "The gate was probably five feet in height and all it managed to do was pin itself half on and half off, like a see-saw. As soon as it came free it was up and walking around."

The frightened animal was checked by a vet after yesterday's incident.
