Fire razes Pasay residential area.

By Jan Carlo Anolin

A fire broke out in a residential area in Pasay City Saturday afternoon.

According to radio DZMM, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) raised it to fourth alarm at 2:30 p.m, just minutes after it hit houses along 8th to 7th Streets in Barangay 183, Villamor.

The fire reportedly broke out at around 2:16 p.m and was declared fire out at 4:19 p.m.

At least 10 houses, including nearby stores, were reportedly razed by the fire.

Reports said firefighters had difficulty in extinguishing the fire since other water hydrants are not working properly.

No one has been reported injured as of this posting. Other victims will temporarily stay in gymnasiums and evacuation centers in the city.

Meanwhile, a fire also hit another residential area in Makati City Saturday morning.
