Fire razes Cainta residence.

A fire broke out at an informal settlers' compound in Cainta, Rizal Sunday afternoon.

According to the Facebook post of Philippine Red Cross (PRC), the fire started at around 5 p.m. and razed approximately 100 houses in Brgy. Sto. Domingo.

As of 6:08 p.m., the fire reached fifth alarm and was declared under control at 7:30 p.m.

Firetrucks from the PRC national headquarters and ambulance from PRC Rizal-Antipolo and Quezon City Chapter were dispatched to clear the blaze.

One patient who fainted was rushed to Cainta Municipal Hospital.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of fire.
