Fire erupts at world's largest acrylic fiber factory in Turkey.

YALOVA (CyHAN)- A fire erupted at the world's largest acrylic fiber factory, located in Yalova province near ystanbul, on Sunday.

The fire started early in the morning and firefighters, aided by units from adjacent provinces, were working to extinguish the raging fire. The cause of the fire is as of yet unknown.

The factory, situated on the Yalova-KaramE-rsel highway, belongs to AKSA Acrylic Chemical Industry Inc. and has the capacity to produce 308,000 tons of acrylic fiber per year.
