Finnish construction costs up by 4.3% in May 2005.

Statistics Finland, the Finnish state statistics agency, said on Friday (10 June) that Finnish construction costs had increased by 4.3% from May 2004 to May 2005.

Labour costs had increased by 3.5% while material and other costs had increased respectively by 6.0% and 0.7% on a year-to-year basis.

From April to May 2005 the total index of construction costs had increased by 0.2%.
