This volume of the international yearbook contains eleven academic papers and four book reviews. The articles discuss such topic as the problem of representation and the Iraqi elections, troubled or failed statehood and international law, the implied powers of international organizations, United Nations member states' obligation to develop autonomy for indigenous peoples, constructing non-compliance systems into international environmental agreement, international online dispute resolution, the status of self-determination in international law, and the importance of international environmental law in the Arctic.
