Finland's Eimo to delist American Depository Shares from Nasdaq.

NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT-5 July 2002-Finland's Eimo to delist American Depository Shares from Nasdaq (C)1994-2002 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

Finland's Eimo Corporation has said that it intends to delist its American Depository Shares from the Nasdaq (the US National Market System) on 30 August.

Eimo's obligation to continue the listing of the ADSs after the merger with Triple S Plastics Inc ended on 15 November last year but the trading volume on the Nasdaq has been low. Eimo has said that it believes this reflects low institutional ownership in the US and that such owners would likely prefer to trade the shares directly on the Helsinki Exchanges anyway.
