Fine art on show this summer.

FOUNTAIN Fine Art has been specialising in contemporary Welsh Art in Llandeilo since 1989. For the summer months they have a changing exhibition of new work from some of Wales' most important painters including Gareth Thomas, fresh from his highly successful 60th Birthday solo exhibition in Cardiff.

Gareth established his reputation with his paintings of the South Wales coast. He works mostly outdoors to capture the changing light and mood of the landscape.

Mike Jones is one of this year's Royal Academy highlights with all his work selling on the opening night.

Mike paints from his studio in the village of Pontardawe in the Swansea Valley.

Born in 1941, Mike is a prolific artist who takes inspiration from the Welsh culture in which he grew up and is heavily influenced by the lives of the people and places of the valley. His subject matter is drawn from his observations both past and present.
