Financing arranged for 80 Fifth.

The Finance and Sales Division of Helmsley-Spear, Inc., has secured a $500,000 second mortgage for 80 Fifth Avenue. Ira G. Feiler, vice president of Helmsley-Spear, represented the borrower. Arnold Schonfeld, vice president of Helmsley-Spear, represented the lender.

The 46-story, 131,800 square-foot office building is located on the southwest corner of Fifth Avenue and 14th Street.

According to Feiler, who recently negotiated a $6.8 million first mortgage for the property, the building's high level of rent has been maintained even. in this difficult market, and the building is currently 96 percent leased.
