Financial adviser, best-selling author teams with GE Long Term Care. (Life/Health).

Suze Oman, a certified financial planner, best-selling author, radio host and TV personality, has joined with General Electric Financial's Long Term Care Division to launch a long-term-care insurance program tailored to deliver product benefits she believes are essential.

Prospects can explore and customize the long-term-care plan, Suze's Choice, at www.suzeschoice.com. Orman said she chose GE as a partner because it pioneered long-term-care coverage in 1974, has top ratings by insurance rating companies and has a "terrific track record" of paying claims and maintaining its rates.

Orman is the author of three consecutive New York Times bestsellers: The Road to Wealth, The Courage to Be Rich and The 9 Steps to Financial Freedom, and the national best seller, You've Earned It, Don't Lose It. She is currently the personal finance editor on CNBC, which is owned by GE, and has launched a weekday radio talk show.
