Financial Media Group acquires Wallstreet Direct, Inc.

Financial Media Group (Centennial, CO), a new company that intends to focus on the marketing, advertising and financial media industries, has completed the acquisition of WallStreet Direct, Inc. (New York), a multimeda provider of financial news, tools and information. No terms of the deal were given.

WallStreet Direct owns Wallst.net, an online financial portal featuring news, media and financial tools for investors, and organizes investor conferences and seminars for publicly traded companies. The company also publishes "WallSt.net Digest," a print business newspaper that carries financial news and commentary.

Financial Media Group coo Javan Khazali said the acquisition is "a perfect example of the type of growth oriented acquisition opportunities we are capitalizing on. The WallSt.net brand is already established in the investment community. We believe that this acquisition will greatly benefit shareholder value, as we provide WallStreet Direct the opportunities of being part of a public company."
