Finance firm sees green.

E*Trade Financial Corporation has signed a 10-year lease for 4,100 s/f at 1001 Franklin Avenue in Garden City, the first environmentally engineered office building on Long Island. The building is a joint venture of the Albanese Organization and Castagna Realty.

The Garden City lease represents the first Long Island location for E*TRADE, which is expected to open in Garden City in August 2006, following the completion of construction currently underway. E*TRADE was represented by Annette M. Healy and Roy Chipkin of CB Richard Ellis, Inc.
