Final pilot training program--Installer Training Course.

NEHA is pleased to announce that the final pilot training program of the Installer Training Course will take place in Kansas City, Missouri, on April 5 and 6, 2009. The training program, being designed by the Consortium of Institutes for Decentralized Wastewater Treatment (CIDWT), is the first national training program for installers of onsite wastewater systems. Three previous pilot trainings have allowed the development group to put together a training program that covers all aspects of installation and possible problems. This training works in conjunction

with NEHA's Certified Installer of Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (CIOWTS). NEHA is anticipating a "Train-the-Trainer" course for the training to be available early Fall 2009.
