New Product Filter Media

A new line of electrostatically charged melt blown media has been introduced by Hollingsworth & Vose, East Walpole, MA. This new media, ranging in weight from 10-200 grams sq. meter, is being produced from both polypropylene and polyester resins. When charged, these webs exhibit stability in high humidity and provide long term shelf life under normal storage conditions. Also, this charged media, primarily used in air filter applications, dramatically improves filtration efficiencies without changing the pressure drop of the media.
