Fiat Chrysler, a company formed by the reorganisation of Fiat and Chrysler, is expecting Latin America auto sales to increase by 1.5 percent to 4.2 million units in 2020

The automaker is expecting an increase in sales as Brazil's economic recovery offsets economic crises in other markets such as Argentina.

Fiat Chrysler's CEO for the region, Antonio Filosa, told journalists that the company will increase its engine production and begin sales of a 100 percent electric vehicle in Brazil. Filosa predicted a 6 percent increase in Brazilian auto sales this year, with Fiat sales increasing by 7 percent to 9 percent.
