Few freckled faces found fun with ad.
THE audacity of dating website Match.com - the public are too sharp to fall for cheap marketing ploys.
Their campaign #LOVEYOURIMPERFECTIONs left many freckled faces peeved.
The ad features a woman's face speckled with freckles and the tag line reads: "If you don't like your imperfections, someone else will."
After a tirade of complaints, the site profusely apologised, said they'd take down the posters and assured us they believe freckles are beautiful.
But was too late - Twitter had already gone into overdrive with one user saying it was a poor attempt to profiting by bullying.
