Ferraro machines add value to the fabrics.

Byline: _

FERRARO SPA is worldwide recognized as the leader in the designing and man- ufacturing of textile finishing machines and remains the only Italian company that manufactures every single part of its systems in Italy.

HOT WAVES

HOT WAVES" meets the highest quality standards in the process of tubular open width knitted fabrics and woven fabrics. Air's mechanical action removes the friction in the crossing points of the fibers helping them to get back to the original position. The fabrics shrinks naturally and achieves dimensional stability together with a soft and bulky handle. HOT WAVES" meets all customers requirements thanks to its high efficiency with a reasonable energy consumption.

HOT WAVES" is designed according to customers requirements and neets. It can be supplied with single passage two or three passages. The chambers are modular and easy to be assembled in the quantity required according the estimated production. The unit can be supplied with a stenter type pin chain at the inlet side and even provided by squeezing padder enzyme washing tank etc.

HOT WAVES" can finish in the best way even the most delicate fabric qualities. Excellent air fans blow the air with high speed out of the nozzles that are located above and below the fabric. The air circulates thus homogenously from above and below the fabrics and lead the fabric in sinusoid waves through the dryer achieving thus a tumbler effect. This effect gives a great improvement of touch volume and residual shrinkage with a low energy consumption. Upper and lower flow and temperature can be set for each zone.

HOT WAVES" can be supplied with different heating systems such as: gas steam or diathermic oil.

X-SLIT

X-SLIT is the new FERRARO slitting line for the squeezing of the open knitted fabrics coming from the dyeing process.

X-SLIT completely made in stainless steel has been studied to satisfy the needs of low - energy impact processes and is composed by rope squeezer TOP BRAND detwisting system manual adjustable opening basket TOP BRAND cutting system with optic detection of the drop stitch selvedges opening system with double motorized cylinders double transport rollers covered by rubber opening and centering system managed by all - width photocell impregnation tank and squeezing rollers. Exit is composed by adjustable folding system.

Automatic rope detwister TOP BRAND. The detwister is mounted on an automatic latch structure that allows an easy and fast pass and avoid excessive tensions in the fabric. The detwister is managed by a three phase asynchronous motor and by Allen Bradley/Rockwell.

The heart of X- SLIT is represented by its rollers covered by special rubber. A moving roller with a specific covering of lower hardness and one fixed roller with a specific covering of higher hardness. Squeezing pressure is programmed by the operator through the touch screen.

The operator's touch screen panel permits to control all working data like speed ascent and descent of the detwisting system squeezing pressure water quantity inside the impregnation tanks rotating table speed etc. X-SLIT is provided with front and rear touch screen.

The centering system is composed by: double selvedges opening rollers manual adjustable all width photocell for the continuous detection of fabrics position dogal cylinder entirely made in stainless steel to ensure high quality and long life.

The components and the design of FERRARO's machines are studied in detail to ensure efficiency high quality of the materials used and ease of maintenance.

Exit system composed by simple folder in stainless steel. Fold length is adustable.

X-PRESS 2T/4T

FERRARO X PRESS 4T is the new tubular rope opening line for the squeezing of the tubular knitted fabrics coming from the dyeing process. FERRARO X PRESS 4T completely made in stainless steel has been studied to satisfy the need of low energy impact processes and is composed by a TOP BRAND detwisting system ring stretchers with holes detecting sensors double fabric's transport rollers made by rubber impregnation tank AIR BALLOONING system first squeezing unit relax J-BOX in stainless steel second impregnation tank with AIR BALLOONING system and second squeezing unit. The exit is composed by the patented magnetic stretcher ASTL 2010 and by the adjustable plaiting unit. The line is also available with single squeezing unit in the model X-PRESS 2T.

X-PRESS has an exit system composed by the patented magnetic stretcher ASTL 2010 to control fabric's width and a simple folder with djustable fold length. The stretcher is provided with 4 independent motorizations that allow to decrease to the minimum the tensions of the knitted fabric through the overfeeding that is possible also in differential form between the two sides.

Fabric stretching system through ring stretcher and optical sensors for the detecting of holes in the fabric. As optional X-PRESS can be provided with the patented system of magnetic stretcher ASTL 2010 to increase the processing of more delicate and light fabrics of wider width.

X-PRESS 4T is provided with a relaxing J-BOX in stainless steel between the squeezing foulard and the impregnation foulard. The system includes a tension control system through a stainless steel automatic compensation roller.

The heart of X-PRESS is represented by its squeezing rollers covered by special rubber. A moving roller with a specific covering of lower hardness and one fixed roller with a specific covering of higher hardness. Squeezing pressure is programmed by the operator through the touch screen.

The operator's touch screen panel permits to control all working data like speed stretchers' position ascent and descent of the detwisting system squeezing pressure water quantity inside the impregnation tanks rotating table speed etc.. X-PRESS is provided with front and rear touch screen.
