Ferguslie aim to fight back.

Ferguslie Cricket Club are hoping to recover from back-to-back washouts as they return to action this afternoon.

Set to take on East Kilbride last weekend, the pitch at East Kilbride was deemed unplayable as the rain lashed down.

It followed in the footsteps of a call-off at Meikleriggs the previous Saturday.

However, the Paisley side will be hoping to get back out on the field today when they travel to take on Greenock.

With one win from only two games, Ferguslie sit firmly in mid-table behind the unbeaten trio of Prestwick, Uddingston and West of Scotland.

They face a Greenock side hungry to bag their first win of the campaign as they currently sit second bottom with no wins from four.

Premier League fixtures: Clydesdale v Prestwick, Greenock v Ferguslie, Poloc v Drumpellier, Stirling County v East Kilbride, Uddingston v West of Scotland.

Elsewhere, in the First Division, Renfrew hit the road in the wake of last Saturday's defeat at home to Stenhousemuir.

The seven wicket loss cut their record to two wins in four and it doesn't get any easier as they welcome highflying Ayr.
