Feeling like you're at the edge of the world; PICTURE of the week.

THIRTEEN-year-old Amber Ward captured this view looking out from a rocky outcrop at one of the bleakest spots around Huddersfield.

As the last rays of sun shone through the clouds she photographed her dad David's friend, 30-year-old Daniel Hamlet, at Buckstones beyond Scammonden.

The Dalton teenager is a pupil at the Netherhall Learning Campus and has become exceptionally keen on photography since David was given a Sony DS LR camera as a gift a couple of years ago.

Amber is one of 31-year-old David's four daughters - the others are Niamh, Ellie and Dannii.

He is an IT specialist at FMG on St Andrew's Road in Huddersfield.

Buckstones is part of the National Trust's Marsden Moor estate and gives magnificent views across the upper Colne Valley to the beginnings of the River Colne and out to Pule Hill and Millstone Edges - a rock formation that spans a large distance.
