Federation of Arab News Agencies Wraps Up General Assembly Meetings.

Beirut, (SANA)-Federation of Arab News Agencies wrapped up the deliberations of its General Assembly in Beirut, with the participation of the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The final statement's decisions included participation in the meetings of the Permanent Committee of Arab Media and the Arab Information Ministers Council and the affiliate committees for effective participation in upgrading the Arab media process.

They also included urging the Arab News Agencies to take part in training courses on communications, given the importance of technical issues to enhance the communication infrastructure of the Arab News Agencies.The statement recommended the organization of more courses and training workshops at the Media Training Institute of the Federation of the Arab News in the fields of photographing.

The statement underscored participation in the conferences and meetings of the Organization of Asian News Agencies and studying cooperation prospects between the two sides, following the lead of the cooperation between the Organization and the European Alliance of Press Agencies.
