AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2011 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp (NYSE:FDX), said on Sunday that it has delivered two giant pandas from Chengdu's Bifengxia Panda Base to Edinburgh International Airport in Scotland.

The two giant pandas, named Tian Tian and Yang Guang, were transported on a non-stop specially chartered flight which included custom-built enclosures provided by FedEx Express.

FedEx worked with the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland and the China Wildlife Conservation Association in China to bring the pandas to the UK, marking the first time in more than 17 years that giant pandas have lived in the UK.
