Fazl withdraws candidature for PM slot.

Islamabad -- JUI-F Ameer Maulana Fazlur Rehman Friday, withdrew his candidature for the office of Prime Minister.

He also announced that his party would remain impartial and indifferent to the entire election process as a bid to record protest.

While speaking in the National Assembly prior to the beginning of the election process, Maulana, said that he moved forward in the election process for the Prime Minister just to bring the prevailing confrontational situation among the state institutions as well as normalize the conditions.

"I made numerous efforts to get elected as consensus candidate for top slot, but my efforts were not taken serious" he added saying that his ambition was to bring the country out of conditions and challenges which it was confronting.

However, he said that remaining failed in convincing the political parties, he had decided to withdraw his candidature for the election of Prime Minister.

"But my party will remain impartial and indifferent to the entire electoral procedure" he said elaborating that his none from his party members would cast vote in favour of any candidate.
