Fayyad: March 14 looking to obstruct strong state.
BEIRUT: Hezbollah's Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc MP Ali Fayyad said Friday the March 14 alliance was determined to obstruct the establishment of a strong Lebanese state.
Fayyad added that under masked demands to support state institutions, March 14 groups sought a void in the country's institutions by trying to deal a blow to the rule of law.
Fayyad said violations at the Telecoms Ministry were a blatant example of March 14 attempts to obstruct the development of the state. Last week, security forces, dispatched by Internal Security Forces chief Major General Ashraf Rifi, prevented Telecoms Minister Charbel Nahhas and ministry technicians from entering a Telecoms Ministry building with the aim of transferring equipment belonging to OGERO to mtc-touch facilities.
