Favourites to focus on.

New Orleans 2.40 Lingfield SP forecast 15-8 Frustrating gelding who was placed for the fourth time in just five starts when third at Kempton last time and would probably be vulnerable to an above-average newcomer. That said, appeared to improve for the fitting of cheekpieces and sets a pretty good standard. Conclusion Worth another chance against debutants.

.Chandos Belle 3.05 Market Rasen SP forecast 15-8 Improved for the step up to this trip when winning at Huntingdon last time and every chance there will be more to come from this five-year-old. However, a 9lb rise in the weights looks a bit harsh with the form having taken a few knocks and this looks a significantly stronger race. Conclusion Likely to find this much harder.

.Geetanjali 3.45 Lingfield SP forecast 11-10 Unbeaten in two since going handicapping and was well on top at the finish at Chelmsford last week. There are a couple of unknown quantities in this field, but they will probably have to have plenty in hand of their marks to trouble this scopey filly, even with her penalty.

Conclusion The hat-trick beckons.

.Perfect Hustler 6.45 Kempton SP forecast 2-1 Last year's improvement coincided with a return to sprinting and this speedily bred gelding may have been flattered by his win here last time (favourite refused to settle). The return to 7f is not guaranteed to suit, but sets the bar pretty high for the newcomers and is nicely drawn.

Conclusion His experience may be the deciding factor.

.Four Fifty Three 8.45 Kempton SP forecast 15-8 The sole winner in the field and finished second at Lingfield last time to one who followed up. This might not take as much winning off just a 1lb higher mark but Kempton's long home straight is not sure to suit a horse who hasn't been finding much in a finish and is poorly drawn.

Conclusion Too risky at the price.
