Fathers stage demo at Cameron's office; NEWS IN BRIEF.

CAMPAIGNERS, including one man from South Wales, have scaled the roof of Prime Minister David Cameron's constituency office to protest about fathers' rights.

Three members of New Fathers 4 Justice climbed on to the roof of the office in Witney, Oxfordshire, dressed as superheroes yesterday.

Jeremy Pogue, 50, from Cefn Hengoed, Caerphilly, was joined by Roger Crawford, 62, from Meppershall, Bedfordshire, and Archit Ssan, 46, from London, the group said.

Other members of the group - which is not associated with Fathers 4 Justice - were also there.

Thames Valley Police said three members of New Fathers 4 Justice were on the roof of the building holding a banner and using a megaphone.

A spokesman said two officers were at the scene.

The move by the campaign group comes after one of its members confronted justice minister Ken Clarke at his home in West Bridgford, Nottingham, at the weekend.

The group said this marks the start of its "CON-DEM(N) CAMERON" campaign, saying it had been angered by the Prime Minister's attack on absent fathers on Father's Day this year.
