| TECHNIQUE and endurance are your top priorities at the gym, right? Well, if you think looking good while you work out is just as important, you're not alone, as a new survey reveals 43% of Brits feel the same, with 29% saying they invest as much in maintaining their sports kit as they do their regular wardrobe.

The research, from Hammerson shopping centres, found city slickers are the vainest gym-goers, with 68% of Londoners needing to look good when they exercise, compared to just 20% in Wales.
