Farm takes aim at market.

A MID Wales farm has gone on the market for PS1.85m.

Pen y Coed Uchaf is a beef, sheep and arable farm at Berriew, near Welshpool, that comes with an Welsh oak frame farmhouse built just eight years ago.

It has several pheasant and partridge shooting drives which were previously let to local shoots but could be developed as a business The farm, which has a Glastir Entry contract, is available as a whole or in two lots from agents Morris, Marshall and Poole, 01938 554818.

| TWO small parcels of pastureland at |Bishops Castle, and one of woodland, are for sale by informal tender with a combined guide price of PS100,000-PS129,000.

The 17.95 acres of land at Banks Head is being sold by agents Halls on behalf of Charlotte Swanson.

The pastureland is expected to sell for PS6,000-PS8,000/acre, while the woods are valued at PS4,000-PS5,000/acre.
