Farm Progress Companies, Carol Stream, Ill., appoints four new
editors to staff e-content and regional publication positions. Jerilyn
Johnson accepts the position of editor of Missouri Ruralist. Johnson was
editor and managing editor of Beef Today and editor of the Angus
Journal. She was livestock editor for the Missouri Ruralist from 1985-89
and news editor of Farm Talk Newspaper in Parsons, Kan., from 1982-85.
Jennifer Vincent accepts the position of editor of Michigan Farmer.
Vincent previously served as manager of communications and development
for the American Farmland Trust Central Great Lakes Regional Office in
Michigan. She has also served as director of communications with
Michigan Agri-Business Association and as communications manager at
Michigan Farm Bureau's state headquarters. Vincent also has 12
years of newspaper experience. Fran O'Leary is the new editor at
Wisconsin Agriculturist. O'Leary has served in several newspaper
editorial positions, including managing editor, farm editor and news
editor. She has also worked in agencies such as Bader Rutter and Johnson
Hill Press. Jacqui Fatka joins the Farm Progress team as e-content
editor. She will supply content for Farm Progress" state
magazines' Web sites and to a number of the company's online
partners, including AgriStar Global Networks.
