Family fun beckons.

FAMILIES are being invited to a fun-filled Christmas show.

The Happy Scatty Scarecrow and his Incredibly Cold Feet will be performed in libraries across North Tyneside from December 7 to 18.

The programme, which is suitable for children aged seven and under, tells the tale of Christmas on Boggle Farm in the Wiggle Woggle Hills and features characters such as Happy Scatty Scarecrow, Dolly Dumpling and Greta the French Scary Cow. It is being run by Monkseaton-based theatre company Gibber, which specialises in development through drama.

And the play has been supported by North Tyneside Council's Widening Horizons for All initiative.

Tickets for the show cost PS3.50 for children and are free for accompanying adults. Performances will last 40 minutes.
