Family Italian opens in city.

A FAMILY run Italian tapas restaurant is now open in Coventry offering homemade cooking just like mama used to make.

Lucia's Italian is now open on the high street in Earlsdon where four new jobs have been created.

The tapas restaurant is run by Lucia Gallo and husband Giuliano with help from 26-year-old son Salvatore and 17-year-old daughter Rosa.

Lucia originates from the Italian region of Calabria and will be serving delicious culinary influences from there.

Lucia, 48, said: "The whole experience will be like stepping into our family home with delicious homemade food coming out of the kitchen. We will be serving a platter of food made from the most delicious Calabrese specialities."

Bookings are now being taken for Lucia's Italian which is situated above Lucia's Vintage Tearoom & Deli.

It is open Friday and Saturday from 6pm till 11pm. To book a table ring 07951 451 547.
