Families of abducted Lebanese in Syria protest before Turkish Airlines.

| offices in Beirut BEIRUT, Jan 2 (KUNA) -- Families of abducted Lebanese in Izaza, Syria, staged a sit-in in front of the Turkish Airlines offices downtown Beirut, demanding the release of abducted.

The sit-in is part of people's peaceful movement against Turkish interests in Lebanon, said Abbas Zugheib, the man tasked by the supreme Shiite council to follow up on the abducted file, in a press release.

The kidnappers released two of the 11 abducted in Syria last September. The abducted group was in a religious journey to Iran in May 2012. (end) oh.ssj KUNA 021550 Jan 13NNNN
