Certainly 1992 marked a milestone for both Fameccanica SpA. and Faidata SpA., two sister companies that have merged, from April 1, 1992, forming one single efficient company--Fameccanica. Data SpA--and potentially augmenting its offer to customers spread worldwide of fully integrated packages in process technologies and plant automation systems.

New Product Requirements

When it comes to customization of the production line and product, no one offers an array of different options like Fameccanica. Data SpA. Some of our latest accomplishments in the field of soft disposable hygienic products are:

Baby Diapers and Adult Incontinence Pads: Any type of upstanding elastic leg-cuffs; improved core structure, double layer or pocket formed with or without tissue wrapping; high strength fluff mat by the unique SUPERJET forming system; waist elastic foam by a special design application system; on-line glue coated frontal tape; the successful COMPACT packaging for bi-folded or tri-folded products; paper bag packaging.

Sanitary Napkins and Panty Shields: Sandwich design contoured products with or without panty protectors (wings); elasticized sides or upstanding elastic cuffs for contoured products; composite core structure; SUPERTHIN (no fluff) products, tube or sandwich design; wrap-less tri-folded superthin products; paper wrapping for tri-folded products; paper bag packaging.

Technical Customer Service

A renewed, more demanding task has been assigned to our Technical customer service organization: Global Service! Training courses by specialists are now available at our or at customers' premises; the latest teaching methods will be employed. The large service staff (42 engineers) has been divided into squads, each dedicated to service a certain geographical area, so as to improve communication and, consequently, the level of service. Centralized management ensures prompt action and resources coordination.
