Fairest system without monopolies; LETTERS.
CAPITALISM is the only fair way of assessing the value to us (the public) of anything, as we decide its value! However, capitalism can only work if it follows two simple rules: -a) there are no monopolies (including no state monopolies) b) the price is where the line on the maximum profit graph, crosses the line of number sold at that price graph.
There is certainly no fairness when state officials distort the price for political or green reasons and when the private sector wildly varies the price of certain items to distract from other unfair increases!
So are we being treated as favoured customers or as plebs going there to be conned? Brian Christley, Abergele.
