Fairchild seeks buyer for three trade titles.

Fairchild Publications (New York), a unit of Conde Nast Publications (New York), is seeking a buyer for three of its eight trade magazine titles, including "Home Furnishings News," "InFurniture" and "Supermarket News."

"Home Furnishings News" is published weekly and focuses on retail trends and products in the home furnishings industry. It has a controlled circulation of 20,000 senior retail management in the entire market, including home textiles, floor coverings, furniture, housewares, gifts, appliances and consumer electronics. "InFurniture" is a monthly magazine with a controlled circulation of 20,300 senior management, buyers, store managers and marketers in the furniture industry. It includes design trends, and marketing and merchandising strategies.

"Supermarket News" has been published for 54 years and has a controlled circulation of 32,400 supermarket industry senior executives, manufacturers and store-level managers. The weekly title carries industry news and coverage of productivity, fresh foods, grocery and health related issues, including supply chain and operations, marketing and advertising, alternative formats, and financial data.

The company will continue to publish rive other trade titles including "WWD" and its related products, "Beauty Biz," published nine rimes a year for the beauty industry, "DNR," a weekly covering the men's fashion industry, the weekly "Footwear News" and the pan-European title "Beauty Report," produced 10 times a year in English, French and German, as well as its consumer magazines.
