Fair time for antiques fans; 08 Days A Week.
Byline: CATHERINE JONESANTIQUES fairs are coming back to St George's Hall after a three-year break.
Liverpool enthusiast Dave Ashbridge has been hard at work for the past year to bring antiques back to the heart of the city in time for the Capital of Culture year.
He said: "St George's Hall is the spiritual home of the Liverpool antique world. I have put my neck on the line to bring it back as the rental fees have come out of my own pocket.
"It is important that the fairs come back to St George's Hall and there is no better time to launch them again than this year.
"I anticipate that it will be a healthy and vibrant time for the antique trade and collectors."
The first date of this year is April 19.
