Fact check.

While we appreciate your interest in M&G, I just wanted to alert you to a factual inaccuracy in the article ["Panorama," April 2005]. You wrote that M&G is planning to build a polyethylene plant in Ipojuca, Brazil. M&G is in fact building a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plant and has no plans to construct a polyethylene plant in the area.

As I'm sure you're aware, these two types of facilities are very distinct types of production and I am sure you can appreciate the confusion and impact this error holds for M&G. We also wanted to let you know that M&G plans to construct a new PTA [purified terephthalic acid] plant in the area.
