Face of victim.

THIS is the man gunned down in a Liverpool street after a row at a house party.

Eugene Ogunboro, 25, died after being hit twice in the chest as he left a flat in Falkner Street, Toxteth, early on Sunday morning.

Eugene, former pupil of New Heys Community comprehensive, Allerton, was blinded in one eye two years ago after being attacked by a gang.

It is understood he was left severely distressed by the attack and usually avoided walking alone, especially late at night.

But detectives have ruled out any connection between that incident and his murder.

Mr Ogunboro was seen rowing with another guest at the party. Within minutes of leaving at around 3.30amon Sunday,he was blasted by a man with a shotgun.

Neighbours heard shots and Mr Ogunboro was left dying in the road.

A group of men in a green Volvo took him to hospital. They are not being linked to the killing.

The man Mr Ogunboro argued with at the party was white and in his 20s.
