Fabio wrong on Cahill pick.

BOLTON boss Owen Coyle has told Fabio Capello he was wrong to snub Gary Cahill - and should have taken Jack Wilshere to the World Cup.

Wanderers chief Coyle argued hard for centre-half Cahill to be included in the 23-man party and pushed for Arsenal's on-loan Wilshere to get a chance.

Coyle claims the early departure of Rio Ferdinand and Ledley King exposed Matthew Upson's weakness as a stand-in and he tips Wilshere for the future.

Coyle said: "I am not trying to be smart after the event. I'm on record as saying that there is no better centre half in England than Gary Cahill."
